Her moment of realization dawned during the COVID-19 pandemic, when time in isolation led her to introspection. Inspired by her father, an entrepreneur himself, Carmen took a leap of faith and followed her heart to Hong Kong, a city she’d never been to before.
In Hong Kong, Carmen initially juggled her corporate career while exploring the bustling Asian metropolis. It was this city that enabled her to serendipitously find her voice through her work as a podcaster. It helped that she reignited a relationship with an old friend, whom she eventually married. Carmen stayed in Hong Kong, attracted by both the city’s vibrant expat community and the potential of new beginnings it held for her personal and professional life.

Being An Entrepreneur, Starting A Podcast
