Since its inception in 2020, we’ve consistently delivered two seasons per year, and we’ve just completed Season 10 with 151 episodes

Each season, we select guests based on previous guest recommendations. Our guest slots are usually filled up quickly before the season recordings begin.

We have been fortunate in getting strong, smart and insightful women entrepreneurs in Asia as our guests from the day we started.

Unlike other podcasts, our episodes aren’t traditional, dull or business-like interviews; they are engaging conversations that captivate and inspire our audience.

For a quick idea about our style, conversation and flow, check out this episode with Dr Coco Wong of Hong Kong.

Podcast Guest Requirements

To ensure a successful and engaging podcast interview, here are some important criteria to note for potential guests:

Fluency in English:
Our remote interviews are conducted in English and our guests should be fluent in the language. The ability to express yourself is key to great storytelling.

Compelling Story or Teachable Lesson:
Guests must be open enough to share both their innermost struggles and personal stories, adding depth and authenticity to the podcast.

Asian Woman Entrepreneur:
You are an Asian woman actively running a business or social enterprise, residing and operating in Asia.

Business Experience:
With at least 3 to 5 years of business experience, you can contribute valuable insights, stories and perspectives. If you have just begun your business but have an interesting startup story, feel free to reach out to us.

Openness About Challenges:
Willing to discuss the challenges of entrepreneurship particularly in the early years and share how you overcame them. Guests must be bold enough to share personal failures, anecdotes or life strategies that will be helpful to our audience.

Unique Angle for The Interview:
You are encouraged to bring an interesting angle or focus that delves into the complexities of entrepreneurship providing valuable lessons for other women. To enhance the appeal of your story, we will work with you to determine a captivating angle or focus during the acceptance process.

Interview Duration:
The remote interview is approximately 1 hour and recorded in both video and audio formats. The audio will be edited and used for the podcast while the video will be used to create video clips or Shorts to promote the episode on Youtube.

Limited Guest Slots

Due to the limited number of podcast episodes (14 per season, 2 seasons per year), guest slots are also limited. Selection is based on our preliminary Google Meet where we will determine if the podcast is a suitable platform for your story.

Please read and understand our step-by-step process

Recommendation and Initial Meeting:
Recommendations usually come from previous podcast guests. or industry partners. We will get into a 20-minute Google Meet to understand your story and business. (We have had cases where language was a barrier so we have had to decline a guest.)

Form Submission:
The guest is asked to fill out a form and select a recording date and time.

Before Recording:
Some guests may request a list of questions in advance, which we provide to ensure adequate preparation. At no point in time should a guest memorize her answers. This would make the recording difficult indeed.

Recording Session:
The 1-hour interview is recorded using Descript, a browser-based software on the agreed date and time.

Post-Production:
Once the recording is completed, we will edit the episode and create an 800-word article based on the provided details. The episode and article are given their page on the website, further increasing the guest’s visibility and credibility. This is why we say each episode is valued at $3,500.

Promotion:
Once the episode airs (we publish episodes every Friday by 6pm when the season begins), the guest will be notified via email. We encourage guests to promote and share the episode link on their social media platforms for increased visibility. We also produce short Youtube clips for guests to promote their episode.
