inDrive has launched applications for the Aurora Tech Award 2025, celebrating women founders of IT startups worldwide.
Women entrepreneurs in Malaysia’s tech industry are encouraged to apply before 21 November 2024.
With Malaysia’s digital economy expected to contribute 25.5% to the GDP by 2025, women remain underrepresented in the sector, making up only 5% of tech entrepreneurs.
The Aurora Tech Award addresses these gaps by offering:
- Increased Prize Fund:
1st: $30,000 | 2nd: $20,000 | 3rd: $15,000 | 4th & 5th: $10,000 - Comprehensive Mentorship: Finalists receive 2+ months of industry guidance.
- Refined Selection Process: From 100 pitches, 15 finalists will be shortlisted for a final round.
